Privacy policy
Coin Casinos Canada is a reading site. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletters, no analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. This page explains the little that is collected and why, following the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who is responsible
The editor of Coin Casinos Canada is responsible for this site and for any personal information connected with it. Contact: hello@coincasinoscanada.com.
What is collected
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data about each request: IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page requested, the referring page and the time. We don’t combine these logs with any other data.
- Search data. Google Search Console shows us which searches led to our pages, in aggregate. It doesn’t identify individual visitors to us.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply and to fix the page you wrote about.
We don’t set cookies, and we don’t use tools that identify you, locate you or build a profile of you.
Why
Server logs keep the site secure and working: they help block abuse and find broken pages. Search data tells us which pages people need. Email is kept to answer you.
Who processes it
- Our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps the server logs.
- Google, as the provider of Search Console.
Casino links that start with /go/ send you to the casino’s own site. From that point, the casino’s privacy policy applies, not ours.
How long it is kept
Server logs are kept by the host for its standard retention period and are not exported by us. Emails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete your emails, and withdraw consent to us keeping them. Write to hello@coincasinoscanada.com; we answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below the title changes with it.
